But I guess him being able to open up and tell her about his past means that he has broken down the barrier that made him unable to tell her anything. Liu Qi wonders about the star not returning the sky, which Xue Tong confirms saying that it’s saying since it made so many friends in the ocean and has many great memories there. This, instead, will be an entire series review and the reasoning for that is because I honestly just couldn’t get into some of the storylines along the way, of the side characters, and mostly skipped their scenes once we neared the end and at this time I don’t think I’d be able to sit through it. Maybe it was because Qi Qi seemed kind of desperate and the guy kind of shady. It seemed like we were so close to seeing how he grew as a person but we ended up not getting any of it. Oh, simple thing, where have you gone? Your comment really help me to understand the ending..Your review and recap of this series is like a much awaited rainfall on a dry and parched land full of plants dying from lack of water!

Directed by Jinglei Xu. Those qualities of hers I liked. In actuality, the entire special episode is dedicated to pretty much him coming to terms with his father’s death and discovering what was truly on the note that his father was holding when he committed suicide. In comparison to Xue Tong, I feel like there was a lot of information given about Cheng He but none of it was really expanded on.

I’m not totally objected to them but it’s just…Liu Qi disappeared during the entire middle half of the drama, pretty much from after he conceded to Cheng He, only to essentially return once Xue Tong was single again. I am falling in love with their characters. Either way, it just seemed like we were kind of empty on that front.I guess it isn’t everything, though, as there is a scene when Cheng He and Xue Tong are in their respective hotel rooms where Cheng He finally airs out his past to Xue Tong and we’re able to understand where he’s coming from and why he’s so darn obsessed with his experiments and I feel like this conversation should’ve happened in the actual series itself. From that point on, as they both search for the answer, with Xue Tong finally knowing how important it is to Cheng He, they seemingly get closer and we can kind of see a semblance to their past relationship except this time it does feel like they both have matured. The proposal comes after Cheng He finally gets the answer that he’s looking for in Russia and actually comes at a time when he and Xue Tong aren’t together, something she points out after he does propose. Even though the proposal is kind of random, what probably spurs it is the fact that he’s learned how beautiful life can be from the message his father wrote. Liu Qi attributed himself to the large fish who tried to teach the little star how to swim with his big tail, but the star didn’t have a tail. Listen to Somewhere Only We Know (Sprint Music Series) by Keane - Retroactive - EP1. Xue Tong says she didn’t include that part but Cheng He thinks that maybe the star who was playing with the other star was worried and went looking for it and believes that the star should go back. Now there could be a whole ton of breaking down the story but I feel like it’s important as to which characters the three attribute themselves to. It’s a story about a star who, while playing hide-and-seek with its friend, fell into the ocean. I started watching them in the beginning but eventually just began to find them a tad annoying and started to skip their parts overall. But in conclusion, it’s a drama that I feel is realistic to issues that people may have when it comes to their lives and really did explore a wide variety of topics and relationships that people have with each other. it’s just that I couldn’t handle the roommates for the most part and honestly just didn’t find myself caring about them. For the final scene, not including the epilogue-type thing, it’s important to note, something I didn’t even see until I re-watched it, that Liu Qi is standing in the water, seeing as he’s one of the sea friends, Xue Tong is standing on the middle ground, as the little star, and Cheng He is standing on top of the hill, as the star that the little star was playing with before. She wasn’t sure about the ending but the perspectives that both of the guys gave her about it pushed her to see that what she had with Cheng He couldn’t be replicated in another relationship and maybe it was quite possibly then that she realized she still had feelings for him and maybe still in love.In my opinion, along with my very limited Chinese ability, the special episode wasn’t too bad.
